Custom fields on people records let you track information specific to your business that isn’t covered by Statisfy’s standard fields. Define custom fields once and apply them across all contacts.

Accessing People Custom Fields

Navigate to Admin > Settings > Object Manager, select the People tab, and go to the Custom Fields section.

Prerequisites

Before creating custom fields:
  • You need admin permissions or the “Manage Custom Fields” role
  • If you plan to map fields to your CRM, ensure your CRM integration is connected and configured

Creating a Custom Field

  1. Click Add Custom Field
  2. Configure the field:
    • Field Name — A descriptive label (e.g., “Preferred Language”)
    • Field Type — Select from the available types (see below)
    • Description — Optional help text shown when editing the field
    • Required — Whether the field must be filled when creating a contact

  4. Save your changes
From the People List (Bulk):
  1. Select multiple contacts using checkboxes
  2. Click the bulk edit option in the action bar
  3. Choose the custom field to update
  4. Enter the new value
  5. Apply the change to all selected contacts

Managing Custom Fields

To edit or delete an existing custom field:
  1. Navigate to Admin > Settings > Object Manager > People > Custom Fields
  2. Click on the field you want to modify
  3. Edit the field configuration or click Delete
Deleting a custom field permanently removes it and all its stored values across all contacts. This action cannot be undone.

CRM Field Mapping

If you have a CRM integration (Salesforce, HubSpot), you can map custom people fields to CRM contact fields:
  1. Open the custom field settings
  2. Click Map to CRM Field
  3. Select the corresponding CRM field
  4. Save the mapping
Mapped fields sync automatically during CRM data refreshes.
Create custom fields for information your team frequently references during customer calls, such as communication preferences or project timelines.
