The Zoom integration connects your Zoom account to Statisfy, enabling automatic meeting recording, transcription, and AI-powered analysis of your customer conversations.

Prerequisites

Before setting up the Zoom integration, ensure you have:
  • A Zoom account with recording permissions
  • Admin access in Statisfy
  • A Zoom ZAK (Zoom Access Key) token for the recording bot

Setting Up the Integration

  1. Navigate to Admin > Settings > Integrations
  2. Find Zoom in the Conversation Intelligence section
  3. Click Connect
  4. Authorize Statisfy to access your Zoom account
  5. Configure the integration settings (see below)

ZAK Token Configuration

The Zoom integration uses a ZAK (Zoom Access Key) token to enable the recording bot to join meetings:
  1. Generate a ZAK token from your Zoom account settings
  2. Enter the token in the Statisfy integration configuration
  3. Click Verify to confirm the token is valid
  4. Save the configuration
ZAK tokens have an expiration period. You may need to regenerate and update the token periodically. Statisfy will notify you when the token is about to expire.

How It Works

Once connected, the Zoom integration:
  1. Syncs recordings — Retrieves completed Zoom meeting recordings
  2. Transcribes — Generates a transcript from the recording audio
  3. Analyzes content — AI processes the transcript to extract meeting summary, key takeaways, sentiment analysis, and action items
  4. Creates activities — The meeting is logged as an activity in the associated account

Recording Settings

Configure which meetings are recorded:
SettingDescription
All MeetingsRecord every Zoom meeting on your calendar
External OnlyOnly record meetings with external participants
ManualOnly record meetings where recording is explicitly requested

Participant Notification

The Statisfy recording bot joins as a visible participant in Zoom meetings. All attendees will see the bot and be aware the meeting is being recorded. This is by design for transparency and compliance.

Viewing Zoom Recordings

After a meeting is recorded and processed:
  1. Navigate to the associated account’s activity timeline
  2. Find the meeting activity
  3. Click to view the full transcript, summary, and AI-generated fields

Troubleshooting

Verify that your ZAK token is valid and has not expired. Check that the meeting is on a calendar synced with Statisfy.
Ensure participants have stable internet connections. Audio quality directly affects transcription accuracy.
Transcription processing may take a few minutes after the meeting ends. If the transcript doesn’t appear after 30 minutes, check the integration status in Admin settings.
Pair the Zoom integration with NoteTaker settings to control which meetings automatically get recorded. See Managing NoteTaker Settings.
