Company Context is a single block of text, written by an admin, that tells Statisfy’s AI how your company talks about itself. Use it to fix recurring naming and wording mistakes: how your company and product names are spelled, what internal terms mean, the tone you expect, and words you never use. Once saved, it applies to the next AI response across the surfaces listed below.

Accessing Company Context

Navigate to Settings and open the Memory tab, then select the Company Context sub-tab.
  • Anyone in your organization can view the page. Non-admins see a View only badge.
  • Only admins can edit. If Stella uses the wrong product name, any team member can check the conventions here without filing a ticket, but changes require an admin.
A Last updated timestamp appears below the editor once context has been saved.

Which AI surfaces use it

Company Context is applied to the AI surfaces that write prose on your behalf:
Digital workers are deliberately excluded. Their responses are checked against retrieved source material before sending, and injected conventions would interfere with that grounding check. Configure digital worker behavior in worker settings instead.

What belongs in Company Context

Keep it short and convention-focused:
  • Names and spelling — “We are ‘Acme’ — one word. Never ‘ACME’.”
  • Terminology definitions — “When we say ‘seat’ we mean a licensed employee, not a login.”
  • Tone — how formal or casual customer-facing writing should be
  • Prohibited wording — words or phrases your company never uses

What does not belong here

Company Context is included in every AI request, so it should hold only the rules that apply everywhere. Factual reference material belongs in the Knowledge Base, where it is retrieved only when relevant.

Writing and editing

The editor accepts markdown and provides:
  • Edit and Preview tabs — Preview renders your markdown; the AI reads the raw text. Formatting is for your readability only.
  • Start from an example — When the editor is empty, this button inserts a worked example using your company name that you can adapt.
  • Live token counter — Shows an estimate against the token budget (for example, ~120 / 1000 tokens). Statisfy recounts on save and rejects an over-budget save. If you are over, trim the text or move reference material to the Knowledge Base.
  • Vendor description — A read-only section titled What the AI already believes about you shows the machine-generated description of your company. If the AI keeps making a mistake your conventions should fix, check this description for the source of the conflict.

Credential check on save

Statisfy blocks any save that contains credential-shaped content, such as API keys, private key blocks, or tokens. The error message tells you what was detected with the value redacted. Remove the credential from the text and rotate it before saving again.
Start small. Add a convention when you notice the AI getting something wrong, save, and check the next response. A few precise rules work better than a long style guide.
