# Push to Gainsight

> Push account values, such as health, from Statisfy to Gainsight Company records.

Statisfy reads companies from Gainsight on your sync schedule. Statisfy can also write account values back to Gainsight. For the concepts that all CRMs share, see [CRM Sync](/admin/crm_sync).

## What Statisfy pushes to Gainsight

| Pushed | Not pushed |
| - | - |
| Values of Statisfy account fields that have a Gainsight target. This includes health fields and fields that AI or workflows fill. | Contacts, opportunities, activities and tasks |

* Statisfy writes to the Gainsight **Company** object. Contact support to use a different object.
* Statisfy pushes only values that changed since the last successful push.
* Statisfy does not push to churned accounts.

## Before you start

* Connect Gainsight. See [Gainsight Integration Steps](/integrations/gainsight_integration).
* Make sure each account has a Gainsight **Gsid**. Statisfy reads the Gsid from Gainsight and uses it to find the Company. Statisfy does not create a Company for an account that has no Gsid.
* Create the target fields on the Gainsight Company object, if they do not exist.

## Step 1: Choose the Gainsight field for each Statisfy field

1. Go to **Settings → Object Manager → Accounts**.
2. Select the edit icon of a Statisfy field.
3. In **Push to CRM**, select **+**, then select **Gainsight**.
4. Select the Gainsight field that gets the value.
5. Select **Save**.

A field can have one Gainsight target. It can also have one Salesforce or HubSpot target at the same time. See [Push to CRM](/admin/object_manager#push-to-crm).

## Step 2: Turn on the push

1. Go to **Settings → Object Manager → Accounts**.
2. In the **Salesforce Fields** or **HubSpot Fields** section, select **Enable upstream sync in Account**.

This checkbox turns on the account push to every connected CRM, also Gainsight.

## When values reach Gainsight

* **Every hour**, while **Enable upstream sync in Account** is on.
* **At once**, when you use **Force sync** on an account or **Retry** in Sync Issues.

## Health values

Health fields push like other fields: each health field needs a Gainsight target. If your workspace maps health values to different labels for Salesforce, Statisfy uses the same mapping for Gainsight.

## Fix a value that did not reach Gainsight

| Problem | What to do |
| - | - |
| Gainsight rejected the value | Open **Integrations → View monitoring → Sync Issues → Accounts**. The **CRM** column shows **Gainsight** and the **Error** column shows the reason. Fix the cause, then select **Retry**. See [Sync Issues](/admin/sync_issues). |
| The account has no Gsid | Statisfy does not write the value. Make sure the Company exists in Gainsight, then refresh the account. |
| **Force sync** shows that sync is off | Turn on **Enable upstream sync in Account**. |
| The account is churned | Statisfy does not push to churned accounts. |

To read an account from Gainsight now, use [Refresh from CRM](/accounts/refresh_from_crm). Gainsight refreshes accounts only.
