# Microsoft Teams Integration

> Ingest Microsoft Teams channel conversations into Statisfy, map channels to accounts, and review threads on the Activity page.

## Overview

Statisfy ingests conversations from Microsoft Teams channels, the same way it handles [Slack](/integrations/slack). After you install the Statisfy app into a team, Statisfy captures the threads in that team's standard channels and links each thread to a customer account.

With the integration, you can:

* **Capture customer conversations** from Teams channels
* **Map each channel to an account** so threads attach to the right customer
* **Turn ingestion on or off** for individual channels
* **Review threads** in the **Teams** tab on the Activity page

## Prerequisites

* Admin access to Statisfy
* A Microsoft Teams connection for your Statisfy tenant

<Note>The **Microsoft Teams** tab in Settings is only visible to admin users when your tenant has a Microsoft Teams connection.</Note>

## Install Statisfy into a team

1. Navigate to **Settings > Microsoft Teams** or visit [app.statisfy.com/settings?tab=microsoft-teams](https://app.statisfy.com/settings?tab=microsoft-teams).
2. In the **Teams** section, find the team you want to capture. Each team shows a status of **Installed** or **Not installed**.
3. Click **Install** next to the team.

After you install the app, the team's channels appear in the **Channels** section. Channels can take a few seconds to appear. If a channel is missing, click **Refresh** in the **Channels** section.

When you install the app into a team, Statisfy backfills the team's channel threads from the last 30 days. Statisfy then re-checks the team's channel threads daily.

### Remove Statisfy from a team

1. In the **Teams** section, click **Remove** next to an installed team.
2. In the **Remove Statisfy from this team?** dialog, click **Remove** to confirm.

After you remove the app, the team's channels stop receiving new messages.

## Manage channels

The **Channels** section lists every standard channel in the teams where Statisfy is installed. Use **Search channels...** to filter the list. Each row shows the following columns:

| Column | Description |
| - | - |
| **Channel** | The channel name. A **Guests** badge appears when the team has guest members. |
| **Team** | The team the channel belongs to. |
| **Account** | The account mapped to the channel. Each channel maps to one account. |
| **Ingest messages** | A switch that controls whether Statisfy ingests the channel's messages. |

### Map a channel to an account

Select an account in the **Account** column. Statisfy attaches the channel's threads to that account.

If a channel has no mapped account, Statisfy resolves each thread to an account from the channel's members. This works the same way as Slack threads.

### Turn ingestion on or off

Toggle the **Ingest messages** switch for a channel. When the switch is **Off**, Statisfy stops ingesting messages from that channel.

## What Statisfy ingests

Statisfy ingests messages in **standard channels** of installed teams. When someone edits or deletes a message in Teams, Statisfy reflects the change.

Statisfy does not ingest:

* Messages in **private channels**
* Messages in **shared channels**
* Messages from **bots**

## View Teams threads

Ingested threads appear in the **Teams** tab on the **Activity** page. You can open a thread in the activity drawer to read the full conversation.

Anyone in your tenant can see the **Teams** tab and the ingested threads.
