# Gong Integration

> Connect Gong to sync call recordings, transcripts, and conversation intelligence into Statisfy.

### Connect Gong with Statisfy

The Gong integration brings your sales and customer success call recordings, transcripts, and conversation intelligence into Statisfy. This enables comprehensive analysis of customer interactions alongside your other engagement data.

**Prerequisites:**

* **Admin access** to both Gong and Statisfy
* Gong account with API access

### What Data Gets Synced

| Gong Data       | Statisfy Data      | Description                                       |

| Call Recordings | Activities         | Call metadata, duration, participants             |
| Transcripts     | Searchable Content | Full text transcripts with speaker identification |

### Data Details

**Call Metadata:**

* Call title, date, and duration
* Meeting platform (Zoom, Teams, Webex, Google Meet)
* Internal vs. external call classification
* Participant list with names, emails, and titles

**Transcripts:**

* Full conversation text with speaker attribution
* Timestamped for easy navigation
* Searchable via Stella AI

**Participant Mapping:**

* Internal participants mapped to your team members
* External participants linked to customer contacts
* Automatic classification based on email domain

### Steps to Connect

1. **Log in to Statisfy.**

2. Navigate to: **Integrations → Admin Apps → Gong → Connect**

3. Click **Connect** to start the OAuth authorization.

4. Sign in to your Gong account and authorize Statisfy.

5. After successful authentication, Gong will appear as **Connected**.

6. Contact [support@statisfy.com](mailto:support@statisfy.com) to enable data sync for your organization.

### Sync Behavior

**Initial Sync:**

* Pulls call data from the last 2 days by default
* Larger historical imports can be configured

**Ongoing Sync:**

* Automatic periodic sync of new calls
* Transcripts fetched for all synced calls
* Media files cached for quick access

**Rate Limiting:**

* Gong has API rate limits (3 requests/second)
* Statisfy handles rate limiting automatically with retries

### Using Gong Data

Once connected, Gong data appears throughout Statisfy:

**On Account Pages:**

* View recent calls in the Activities timeline
* See participants and call duration
* Access full transcripts

**In Stella AI:**

* Search across call transcripts
* Ask questions like "What did we discuss with @Acme about pricing?"
* Get AI-powered summaries of customer conversations

**In Reports:**

* Include call activity in engagement metrics
* Track conversation frequency and trends

### Transcript Search

Gong transcripts are fully searchable:

1. Navigate to Stella AI
2. Ask questions about call content:
   * "What concerns did @CustomerName raise in recent calls?"
   * "Find discussions about competitor mentions"
   * "Summarize pricing conversations from this quarter"

Stella will search transcripts and provide answers with citations linking to specific calls.

### Troubleshooting

  **Check sync status:**

  * Verify Gong is connected in Integrations
  * Recent calls may take time to sync (check back in a few hours)

  **Check permissions:**

  * Ensure the connected Gong user has access to view calls

  * Transcripts require Gong's transcription to complete
  * Very recent calls may not have transcripts yet
  * Verify transcription is enabled in your Gong settings

  * Internal team members are matched to your organization's users
