# Activity Sharing

> Share activities with external stakeholders using secure, time-limited public links.

Activity sharing lets you generate a public link to an activity record so you can share meeting notes, summaries, and key takeaways with people outside your Statisfy organization.

### When to Use Activity Sharing

* Share meeting summaries with customers who attended
* Provide call notes to stakeholders who missed a meeting
* Share activity details with cross-functional teams who don't have Statisfy access

### Prerequisites

Before generating a share link:

* You must be signed in to Statisfy with access to the activity
* The **Share** button is visible only if you have sharing permissions for the activity
* Recipients do not need a Statisfy account — they can view the shared content via the public link

### Generating a Share Link

1. Open the activity you want to share
2. Click the **Share** button
3. A public link is generated and copied to your clipboard
4. Share the link with your recipients

### What Shared Links Include

The public link displays:

* Activity title and date
* Meeting summary and notes
* Key takeaways
* Sentiment (if applicable)

<Note>
  Shared links do **not** include internal comments, tags, or account health information. Only the activity content itself is visible.
</Note>

### Link Expiry

Shared links automatically expire after a configured period (set at the organization level by your admin). Once expired:

* The link no longer works
* Recipients see a message that the link has expired
* No activity data is accessible

### Extending a Link

To extend the expiry of an active share link:

1. Open the activity
2. Click the **Share** button
3. Click **Extend** to reset the expiry countdown

The same URL remains valid with the refreshed expiry date.

<Tip>
  If you know recipients will need ongoing access, extend the link proactively before it expires.
</Tip>
